Re: Pointy to Curvy and Vice Versa
cool, I have a pointy, the one I prefer out of the 2.

Re: Pointy to Curvy and Vice Versa
The tank on the pointy makes it look like a Quasimodo bike all hunch backed with irregular lines. Just out of proportion and no elegance to it.

Re: Pointy to Curvy and Vice Versa
I have to admit when looking at bikes before taking my test i hated the look of curvy's and much preferred the shape of the pointy, but when i actually got round to looking at bikes i fell in love with my curvy (altough i have never seen a pointy up close). I like them both equally, but the pointy does tempt me as i wouldnt have to bother with the choke giving me problems on a cold morning!

not sure what the point of your question is, but I liked them both in different ways. |

Re: Pointy to Curvy and Vice Versa
They're both bikes at the end of the day... I had a CG125 before SV and I would go back to that if funding and availability meant I had to... before the CG was an EXUP and that would be fine too.
Ride whatever you can, if I trashed my curvy and there was a pointy available cheap enough... I'd have it to hack around on. I wouldn't want to keep hold of a fuel injected bike for too long though. |
