Found a nice camera on my weekend to Wales, just need to get a lead for it now...anyone got one they don't need anymore?

Seriously I lost a camera before - sure it was the maid on hols in Dominican Republic had it away - I was more upset at losing the horse riding photos :(
Don't give up hope Hovis

Cheers H, you've just reminded, find my camera in the house.

I'd keep it if it was decent and I needed it.

*Waits for the post in idle banter 'I found a camera in wales'*

I'd hand it in.

We lost our camera at BSB last year...............only attended by bike loving people..............and it was never handed in. Sickening. I wouldn't do the same to another person.

Me too, I know I'd want people to do the same if they found something of mine and a few times the good karma has come back around. If I left my camera somewhere I would be absolutely gutted but it being a good one I would lose all hope of getting it back :(

I'm heavily burdened with this thing they call a conscience you see and I just couldn't keep something, knowing it was a great loss to someone else, just isn't right. My mum was once on a bus when she saw a bloke drop a huge wad of cash as he was getting off, she got up and handed it to him, there must have been a few hundred there. Stupid thing to do maybe but she felt better for it. Must be hereditary  I once got paid a tenner for ringing up a number on a lost phone and returning it, always a good incentive :D

Don't give up though Hovey, keep checking to see if it has been handed in. Maybe someone is going to make use of it first then hand it in when they've finished...? If they had a memory cardreader they could do.

I would hand it in.

My conscience wouldn't let me keep it. Id feel pretty bad keeping a nice camera, knowing that someone, somewhere wants it back. Im a firm believer in treating other people how you would like to be treated.

There doesn't seem to be many honest people around anymore, a lot of people are only interested in their own gain. My nan handed in a lost purse full of cash in an M&S cafe a few years ago and the staff member was a bit dodgy about it. My nan finished off her tea and the woman who had lost it came back and asked the very same staff member if the purse had been handed in. She said no

To cut a long story short my nan got the manager called down and the woman got her purse back.
