Re: Why did you choose a naked? or Why did you choose a faired?
Bikes owned.....
Naked 125stroker Half-Faired 600 budget4 (naked for a bit) Naked 650 V-twin Half-Faired 1000 V-twin (naked for a bit) Naked 1400 4 Half-Faired 650 V-twin Folk who buy naked and then stick some god-awful fairy fly screen on them want shooting. If they rode their bikes a bit more their body would condition itself to that kind of posture. (Pushing the bulk to roundabout the front midriff it seems for me.:D ) Naked was for me again was to keep average speeds down. Generally crusing at 80-90 instead of 130 on the faired bike. If you are thinking you need a bit of plastic infront of you to go touring you are riding on the wrong roads. ;) Naked is just more hardcore and not as diluted an experience, riding or looking. Where is that " Do you feel you are getting old thread?" ;) |

It was the right price at the time, dont like the low handlebars, but love thw wind protection. I know you can get the high bart kits, but I dont wanna cut my screen up.

Re: Why did you choose a naked? or Why did you choose a faired?
It was really cheap at the time for my Faired bike at £1300 and 11000 miles but I would prefer a naked as soo easy to work on! And some nice wide bars!
