A quick google shows a gsxr600 (if that's what it is) will do 150-160 stock.

Ok Guys, I have to admit that I am very qualified to lay judgment in this case.

Michael is my cousin (I am ashamed to admit it but its true).

He is a K**B, born one and will always be one.
Was always "Nannys little angel".
Never worked a decent day in his life.
Never gained anything through his own efforts.
Got through life on the reputation of his family name (The Robillards were a bit notorious in their day).

DONT FEEL SORRY OR TRY TO JUSTIFY ANYTHING FOR THIS GUY!!!

He is the sort of guy that would borrow your last £10 and then go and rob your house while you were out.

Truely one of lifes wasters.

So just how many incidents does it take to kill someone then? What if the other driver hadn't reacted so quickly and hit him, perhaps even killing the motorcyclist? Don't get me wrong, I'd not lose a moments sleep over him personally but the car driver might have had to live with that for the rest of their life and that's just not right.

This one actually deserved a prison sentence. What an idiot.

Ooh that's a bit emotive Mr Herring. A number on here openly accept that they overtake on double white lines. I entirely agree that the rider was a prat. But overtaking on double whites doesn't mean to say you're going to kill somebody.

If the rider kills himself that's his choice. He chose to ride at that speed and overtake on a bend with a solid white line. Only mistake, not creative enough to win a Darwin Award.

Unfortunately, there's a fair chance he would have gone through the van windscreen and taken out the oncoming driver too. So, I'm with the 'lock him up' lobby this time. He's a real danger to other road users.

Just my opinion,

Keith.
