Nah it was my own fault. I decided it'd be a good idea to go down a mountain with my legs strapped to a plank of wood and I fell over...

I was snowboarding, feet went one way, lost my balance put my hand out, and broke the radius bone in my left wrist right on the joint. Got a nice titanium plate in it now though :cool:

I can ride OK, just got a confidence issue and I dont want to be a pain in the ass on a group rideout so I need to put some more miles in on my own first.

Cool. Glad your back on the bike already.

Perhaps a ride with 1 or 2 of your mates (just a v small group of trusted friends) will help you get past your mental block. They may be able to point out what's holding you back or may be able to help you relax.

Hope your back to full speed soon, take it easy.

Went out with Liz the other weekend, that was OK, just dont fancy a big rideout at the mo thats all.

The only thing holding me back is me. I'm not doing anything wrong just not confident on left hand bends at the mo. Its just practise thats all.

I'll work on him tonight and try and convince him he needs to do it. I think the camping maybe more of an issue than the rideout.
