Personally though the most obvious answer is get a job. Its what most people do when they need money.

only 17 :D so cant have a credit card

barman/waiter?

decent pay for under 18s usually...good tips depending on the place. alot will pay straight into your hand so no forms/tax/nat. ins.....
Just walk straight into some places and ask, you'd be surprised who'll take you straight on!

and meet plenty of people, and possibly some FIT waitresses ;)

Have a look in a job agency and sign onto one of them? Means you can work when you want to work (more or less..)

Good call that, I work up at the skelmersdale distribution centre and we are pulled out at the minute, the credit crunch isnt affecting us at all, or join an agency for a few months, now that we are into the new financial year a lot of firms are hiring agency staff, not every company is affected by the credit crunch.

Yeah my eejit of a housmate is also jobless (having not been a student since January ) and he's just got a day's work with an agency, delivering flour of all things! But he gets £65 for the day so seems worthwhile to him! Agencies are really flexible though, they'll find you a week's work and then that could beit if you didn't fancy it, tis all very temporary.

Hope you find one soon hun!

lidls/aldis pay is quite good for shelf stackers/till workers etc.

Mc donalds isnt a bad job really. I worked there for a year and it payed for two bikes a car and a full HDTV as well as the laptop im using now. Part time whilst I was at 6th form. If i needed to i would go back they were good with time off and the work was hardly demanding i stood around and talked most of the time
