It wasn't an epic race, but Vale showed his metal again with his "oh no you don't" attitude which stuffed Casey at Laguna, and Dani couldn't cope with it either. A lot of riders would have slipped back to 3rd or 4th, but not Vale, he always manages to make the best of what he has.
