Re: Wheelies on a 33bhp.
i can do one, first one scared the **** out of me at a set of lights, the car couldnt do it tho so all was good :D
do wheelies all you like if they get to high just grab that clutch not the brake, front end comes down quickly and skids as it hits the ground, this can also cause the front end to flip away to one side or the better way is slowly roll the power off and normally still get the skid but down get the wheel falling out the air quickly. How to wheelie a 33bhp bike is easy get the revs at a set of lights to about 7,000rpm and the moment they turn green just drop the clutch, and once the wheelie comes up roll off the power to stay in control. this is how i do it and i dont recommend this on the road and dont blame me if your bike is a wreck after following this advice |
Re: Wheelies on a 33bhp.
This may sound like a dumb question.........but I have some quite long, and in places very steep hills near where I live. They're so steep the front wheel feels very light and you barely have to touch the handlebars to turn the wheel.
So my question is.....will the front cylinder suffer from oil starvation in the same way it would as when your doing wheelies? |

Re: Wheelies on a 33bhp.
I read in Bike magazine that steepest road in britain is 33% or 30 degrees. And wheelies are what, around 45 or something? Plus I don't think you ride that road everyday :)

Also, there's no magic figure when trying to wheelie. Don't look at your clocks to get a certain RPM. Just look ahead and listen to your engine. |
