Gorgeous as it is, the green and silver doesn't do it for me, and I cast my vote for Adam's red 'un:p

Nahh thats ok, life would be boring if we all liked the same stuff. :D

Ooo Ride review, ok, let me break my virginity at this

Town use - Good luck. It has the turning circle of an oil super tanker. Allow 11 miles to turn around  In town I found it quite hard on the wrists. Your bums quite high in the air, like the 675 and R6, but its not as harsh. You can easily drop your elbows onto your knees for a few minutes relief if it gets really bad, but tbh, thats probably my wrists weakening after riding the upright Bandit for a few years.

It needs to be moving to get into Neutral. I've found you need to be doing at least 15mph to easily slot in, which takes some getting used to. Standard Nelli issue. Gotta get re-used to a longer gearbox too.

Its a very front orientated bike. goes through front tyres faster than the rears.

Turn in is simply awesome. You look, it goes. The front glides into the bends with minimal effort and is so precise. Far easier to tip in than a IL4 or twin. Once cornering is a little bouncy, but tbh i've not reverted the suspension back to standard yet, and the first day was due to lower pressure in both tyres. Fealt a LOT more stable the 2nd day.

Power, below 3000rpm theres not much, you need to be mild on the throttle. As it reaches 5k, start hanging on, and let her rev to about 9000-10,000rpm, where i find power dies off and its simpler to flick it up a gear to get another surge of midrange torque. Its got so much pull in the middle of the revs its untrue, great for hard acceleration out of bends. I don't ever plan to see the redline, it doesn't need to be revved that far really. Its slightly slower than my friends GSXR750, but has more umph coming out the bends. Its sheer top end power he started to pull.

Fuel, normal sportbike range, about 100-130 miles.

Noise. Well i might stick the baffle back in, as the induction noise far outdrowns the exhaust note, bar on de-acceleration. Nothing sounds like it, sure the other triples are close, but i find the Triumph engines much quieter on idle.

Brakes. Perfect for my style. I like lots of inital bite and feel, and they have plenty. I can't see me needing Radials for a looooooooooong time yet. I'll go over the front before I need more braking power  Im sure the radials are better on track, but tbh, the Brembos are the previous generation Superbike brakes, and they work jussssssst fine. Rear brake is bloody awful though

Footpegs, styling over form methinks. I find my feet slip off a few times due to the rounded "ball" type ends, but again I think its me getting used to a more "precise" bike instead of diving board length footpegs on other bikes.

I know theres faster bikes, more reliable bikes, better bikes out there, but for the value for money and "usability" on UK roads, its fantastic. Amount of attention whoare stares she gets is amazing. Turn up at Boxhill and instantly had a huge crowed around our bikes.

For some reason, the common as much GSXR, CBR, R6/R1 just doesn't appeal to me, too common, too many about that look exactly the same. I like the "individuality" factor, and if you want poncy looks, you won't find better (ok bar maybe an MV)....

So, now the question is, where do I find £13k for one fo the very last few LE's left for sale...... Nahh im proper happy.

Now to start saving for a saddo Benelli Jacket and t-shirts, and all that funky new carbon fibre parts that are becoming available (front sproket cover, top/side tank carbon parts, italian reflector for the back etc...

:D:D:D:D:D

Radiator fans.

Rads under the seat unit, not in front of the engine. Sucks air through the rad and spits the hot air out the back.

Work just as normal rad does, just in a different place.

Especially compared to the Bandit which will do 180 degrees in a double garage space.... Nearly.....

I'd be lucky to get 20 degrees from Nelli.

pah, never mind, worth it :D
