I'm guessing you really want to do this Race school day. I wonder if there is anything she would like to do as much.........just a thought.

Let me guess....you're single, right? :p

Talking is definitely the way forward. And if you think she's not listening then you need to make her see that you're seriously close to ending things and that you need to find the way forward, whether that be together or apart.
My OH stayed in a relationship for 20 years that should never have lasted more than 10 but felt too obliged to stay for her sake, and she refused to let him have a bike for 20 years! Luckily for both of us we found each other and two great sv's :D.
If you want things to change then you are the only person that can make that happen, but if you still have feelings for her then speak to her, tell her honestly how you feel and maybe you can work things out.

Fingers crossed that whatever the outcome, you soon feel happier x

see ive tried to talk to her , and she just throws it back at me and calls me arsey for asking whats wrong .

last night was litterally the first time id said i was going race school and i wanted her to be excited but insted she gave me her 'opinion' wich included the words," not, hardass, wimpep out, crash, die" basicly the gist is i crashed my old 125 and it shook me up a bit but i then went out and bought a 650 beast so i dont see how im a wimp, but hey ho.

can we set up an svdating.org or something lmao. biker birds and blokes, and im not telling her im gay wideboy , lmao

if i come to the AR10 and im miserable, im blaming most of the lads on this forum hahah

Too true Gracie-babes!

Well in relation to the original question, I'm sure you will see that not all of us are like that.

There are a lot of women who do resent the bike or are jealous of it for taking your time and money and there are also those just worry too much about you getting hurt on it.

I find that like-minded people get on very well and if you are into something that your partner isnt, you both need to accept your differences!

However, if you are unhappy because the relationship is crap then do the right thing....don't blame biking for ending it because that would be a silly thing to break up over if you had a good relationship.

+1 to Kellyjo's post, don't ever stay with someone because you feel obliged to.

maybe she thought you were saving up for a certain piece of jewellery and then was disappointed when you said you were going on raceday. It may be that she is worried about you hurting yourself. It may be that she is a miserable cow. If the relationship doesnt make you happy, no matter how long you have been together, end it. Life is too short to stay with someone who doesnt make you happy (Im aiming that at another org body too).
