It's funny when it doesn't happen to you. The driver and the passenger are pr1cks. My daughter and I have been splashed and it's not funny, especially considering my daughter is not even 3 yet.
Grumble, grumble, bah humbug, devolution, blah  Ste. |

The a-hole that got my daughter and me was an X5 (of course) who was annoyed at being held up by parked cars in his way on a busy but narrow street. He saw the puddle and went for the deepest bit on purpose instead of skirting it as he could have done - no idea why. I saw it coming too late but managed to turn my face away from it. When the wall of water hits you it hurts! Plus we were utterly drenched of course. Hope she gets prosecuted. You may not think it is a crime but if a car driver deliberately hits you with something they threw at you would you be happy about it? You could argue that it's assault. Even if it is "just" water. Like I said it hurts if there is enough of it and if you're injured as a consequence it's ABH. You can't tell how badly it will affect someone before you do it either. Still think it's funny and not a crime??? |
Re: Moral dilemma
It could fall under the new Careless and Inconsiderate Driving charge and that I believe can be a custodial sentance if they want it to be.
