Re: Christmas meal
Carvery?
(normally in a pub and not generally expensive... and normally has lots of space.....) Or we can all track down a burger van.... light a few candles to keep us warm.... :D OR.... Maccy D's party section... I call dibs on the high chair!!!!! Southend Hospital has good food..... But on a serious note..... Carvery maybe? I'll keep my eyes and ears open for some places :) |
Re: Christmas meal
Seeing as nobody has suggested anything major, perhaps just a general meet somewhere with some drinks and some pub food?
Suggestions of places are welcome, as most of the ones that I know are probably a bit out of the way for people. (southend, rayleigh etc) |
Re: Christmas meal
what date would you be thinking??
We have rather a lot on over the weeks from the beginning of December..... I might allow P off the ball and chain over the 12th weekend, as I'm on nights:smt022 However if I chat nicely to my chauffeur, hes driving me down to London on the 19th of Dec for the weekend. I could persuade him to do a detour on the way back on the Sunday maybe. Might be a little too close to xmas for some though. |
Re: Christmas meal
Pub/Carvery in Chelmsford near the rail station?
|
Re: Christmas meal
Chelmsford should be cool.
I know I'm unavailable 11/12th and 22-24th. Any other dates are fine so discuss dates people can do and we'll say a pub around chelmsford? My only concern is that being that close to christmas may mean that the pubs are full/busy? |
Re: Christmas meal
12th is the Soho get together.

Re: Christmas meal
Ok perhaps a post xmas meal? Just for the sake of being easy?

I'm not trying to upset anyone, but surely the date for a specific regional meal shouldn't be influenced by other regions. Just my opinion... |
