Alas it wasn't so much my numbers that failed me it was my memory my memory, I have an incredibly poor short term memory I get texts, hear them think I've read them and discover them hours later like 'oh yeah' etc.
Well embarassingly enough I did a test transfer of £1 4 days ago so as to avoid such a pitiful situation; as infairness to me the bank really weren't clear on the account numbers (they had the account number listed next to the account name but without the zeros, I thought it was safe to assume that was the account number!) anyway logged on to the sending account thought cool that's gone through, I've checked it at the other end let's send the full ammount...but Infact I'd forgotten to check at the receiving account :smt053
