I did mine last winter on a brand new bike and it seemed to work well. I rode quite a bit on dry roads in January after the cold snap and you could see the salt had turned to a fine powder on the roads, but the ACF-50 seemed to stop this eating into the bike. So coated it again a few weeks back and it's rained every weekend since.
