When we had friends visiting Canada from the UK they couldn't get over how cheap clothing was. We took them to Old Navy (owned by the Gap, just like the Gap, and miles cheaper than the Gap) and they bought out half the store. Since I've been here I see what they mean about clothes being cheaper over there :smt103

I wouldn't expect any real bargains over there on bike gear. Deals pop up now and again, but I've been able to afford a lot more since I've lived here than I ever could back home.

I think my missus and I cleared out a Zellers when we were there last time. Thing is, we foolishly waited to go clothes shopping and it was like 33 degrees each day, and all we had were jeans and boots (no shorts)!
