It doesnt bother me about the lack of "in depth" stuff or press conferences, just as long as they show the track action.I only want to see the racing, not listen to them all talking about it.

The only other thing about the BBC is their radio, as I hardly watch any TV these days.

I don't think that's anything to do with Toseland being gone as they did exactly the same last year at that circuit (although the heavy rain delayed the start so they managed to get some extra stuff in by default).

It aggravates me quite a bit. The BBC should use the license fee to improve things for an audience of whatever it is they want to broadcast, that is the point. Viewing figures do not mean extra money for them, just a pat on the back because it means they're doing something right. So this service, which they are providing, has to please the target audience.........and it clearly does not!

The best thing they could do with their BBC budget for MotoGP, would be to give it to Eurosport so they can do it properly. That would be fulfilling their role of improving the viewing experience for audiences.

In addition, would it really be such a stretch for them to have a "BBC Sport" channel which is there only to broadcast whenever an event cannot be squeezed onto the other four? Or would there be some moral objection from the commercial networks etc.

I don't, and will not, pay for Sky. Deepseated moral objection (yes, I cut my nose off to spite my face).

My complaint is not that they didn't show the qualifying, but that they said they would and then didn't.

Well from my point of view it was a hell of a lot better before the BBC decided to acquire exclusive rights to live broadcast. I just don't get why they wanted to invest money only to do the actual broadcasting so lackadaisically. If they don't really want to do it properly, let someone else do it. I'm sorry, but I don't want the BBC to decide they want to give the half-baked treatment to WSB or BSB also.
"Race one highlights from Assen are available on the red-button, race 2 may be shown live on CBeebies, assuming "The Poobles Go To Lapland" doesn't run long. World Supersports?! Yeah right".

But thats why I got sky in the first place.

If the BBC have paid all that money for exclusive rights why dont they show the footage. Its like having a motorbike in the garage and then never riding it.

I thinkt he BBC sports channel would be a good idea. It would also stop the tom foolery like we had last weekend when the F1 went from BBC1 to BBC2 mid race in order for the Easter Sunday service to g out live on BBC1...

Dorna forced the exclusivity on the BBC to be fair

Well that's cheered me up. Was starting to think I should have sorted an Ariel, a Freeviewbox & a TV license so I could watch the races. Glad I haven't. Will resort to gatecrashing people with Sky. Job done.
