JD's great an perfect after you've already had a beer or something, but in no way is it out pussy'd by SC. They're both fake drinks, you gotta go scottish to get a proper throat ripping beverage. You know the ones, where your voice changes slightly after consuption and mixing it with any cheap cola's makes it taste like cat pi55.
Glenfiddich I think I'd put at the top of the commerical drinks which fit that catagory, then glenmorangie (both prob spelt far too wrong) as the one you can actually drink "straight, on the rocks" yummy
