Up to press I am thinking it'll probably be about 12ish, just up to thr bridge (I'll have a look at Wilky's route)

Could meet at the barn if you'd like then it breaks it up a bit (I'm about 10 mins away from it)

Will keep yo posted.

I do that route quite often too. A good extra is the little B road that goes off from the Woodhead across to Glossop. Then you can carry on to the Snake Pass and that way.

Good route is:
Saddleworth to Holmfirth
Holmfirth to Woodhead
Woodhead to Glossop
Glossop to Snake Pass
Snake Pass to Edale
Edale to Chapel-en-le-frith for petrol, then to Whaley Bridge
Whaley to Macc
Macc, over C+F, then turn off, do Long Hill to Whaley, then Whaley to Glossop

Then go home knackered ;)

And no, I don't do rideouts in groups ;)

Sounds good. tbh I don't really do groups either. Usually just with 2 of us, but I don't think half a dozen is bad. Just never really fancied bigger groups, the organising and TEC/markings I can't be bothered with (maybe it's just the organising side though. Will have to tag along on one of the PM ones one day)

Yeah, it's usually just me and the hubby, but occasionally another couple of peeps tag along. That's enough for me
