no.. but you would be lucky if the insurance did too! ;)

I do not know their length of liability unless there is a fault with the repair.

The reason I am on the side of "give a chance" is Catherine caught an 09 plate Freelander in a car park, he could have insisted that it went to landrover and gone though our insurance which would have been a real bitch, however he was good enough to allow me to send chips away around who repaired it all.

Granted their could be more damage but when the boots on the other foot its nice to be given a chance.

I have also been the fool to accept cash settlement before, e.g my first sv, was repaired paid for by the lady in cash but they missed the bent forks on assesment, I ended up forking out (no pun intended) to have them fixed

No pun intended, but still rather amusing.

Yep...it's a judgement call and either way, the garage might be the ones liable if they missed something initially and not sure about how long liability would last.

Legally this is the only way.

If the woman pulls a fast one then I'm stuffed. And that is not happening.
