I have parking spaces all over Gwent at places everywhere from brecon beacons to middle of newport. All free and paid for as a Welsh Water employee.

Nope - but the office is in a location with no public transport to speak of so everyone has to drive in. Recently I've been working from home for a bit which is even cheaper.

don't get me started on this one ! grrrrrrrrr since moving down to the sunny south I have never been more moretified to descover you just can't park anywhere for free !!! anywhere it is sooooo annoying
up north i worked in a building with 2000 people and funnily enough there were 2000 FREE parking spaces come down here get shafted left right and centre !!! why it cant be free first come first serve gets me !

They even give me petrol money to get to work, I feel awfully smug when I take the push bike :lol:

I thought all hospitals (in England) charged staff to park, i work in Ipswich Hospital & they've been charging for years to park a car there, it's currently £1.00 a day or a bit cheaper than that if you pay monthly straight from your wages, if you pay straight from your wages however you still pay if you are off sick or on A/L, so for me i'd have to pay for 33 days for nothing when i'm on holiday for a start & like you say there is no guarantee of a space & they accept no liability for any damage that may get done, as yet bikes are still free hence me using mine every day.

Nuffin. However id di bring the car in, then £8 a day congestion tax.
