Get the pistons right out and rubber grease behind them, if corrosion has got any hold in there then they'll never be right.

Oh....some idiot had fitted a rear hugger to it. It's rubbing a teeny bit, only hear it when you walk the bike, but we wanted to take it off for the trip home. Back to the drawing baord now though as the idiot has tightened the bolts holding it on with a power tool I think. They are seriously NOT budging.

Bolts more likely to be seized in place than overtightened, IIRC they are just a couple of M6s, if you butcher those they'd just snap.
