This is what I can't abide about this side of political correctness - it's a load of white people complaining about how a black person may feel about something, when the black people are perfectly capable of explaining for themselves if it does indeed offend, which 9 times out of 10 it doesn't. I feel that white people complaining on behalf of black people is pretty damned patronising to the black people they are supposed to be standing up for, as if they need to have us intelligent white folk to do the clever talking for them because they must be thck if they are black (which we all know is absolute balls).
I get a few racist text jokes every day - I don't like half of them because they are blatantly offensive, but the half I do like are usually funny observations or stereotyping jokes and they usually come from a gorgeous ex-girlfriend of mine, who is of black South African descent.
