Possibly the same way I've got one of those and a Z1000SX booked for two weekends. Running them in for the dealership as demos because I'm one of the few who can be trusted to do it properly and not cane them.

Saw one in Plymouth George white earlier today....all i can say is that I WANT ONE! Just a shame i wont get a chance to ride one

I was tempted to ask if my local dealer wanted there new GSXR 600 ran in.
You can see where the lards been lost off the bodywork

Didnt think it would be as simple as just asking if they wanted their bike ran in?

Its not, I considering being cheeky and asking but decided against.

Most of it is done by people like Jo and Lozzo, people involved or have been the trade.
But some of the dealers don't mind doing it as it means they get to play with a lot of bikes and on works time

It does sound like a dream job and at least they would know that their bikes have been run in properly

Same as Lozzo, the shop owners help me with my Race Bike, i advertise their stuff for them in the Paddock, i organise their ride outs and lead them, work on their Open Days and he trusts me to take the new demo bikes out, run them in to manafacturer recommedations, just a bit of give and take for each, and a whole lotta fun
