Re: Bikers Nod
I nod at every mother funky... I remember when I had a Yamaha Townmate, shaft driven step through 50cc (my 1st road bike) and if ANYONE nodded at me.. I'd be chuffed for ages!

Re: Bikers Nod
I nod at just about everyone, notable exception being learners / 125s wearing fleeces / joggers. I sometimes have to stop myself nodding to bikers from the car.

Re: Bikers Nod
By that note Terah you'd probably not nod at me on my "big bike" then, seeing as I wear a fleece over my leathers.
Oh, and for the record, the BF was properly kitted up. (I also have to stop myself nodding at bikes while in the car...lol) |

Re: Bikers Nod
I have a C90 for work that shares the garage with the SV so from experience I get nodded at in reply about 75%ish on the SV and almost never on the Cub, so I don't usually nod at anybody on the Cub unless I'm nodded at.

Re: Bikers Nod
I stopped to help a 125cc'er on the way to work the other morning, had done the de rigeur trick of filling up and leaving it on reserve :smt082
He had to perch on top of the tyre I was carrying on the back cradling a gallon of fuel like a child, when we'd got bike going he said "do you want owt for the lift?" "nah" "oh well are you paying me for breaking my ears then" I lol'd :) |

Re: Bikers Nod
I went for option 1.
We've all been there, we all learnt to ride at some point. |
