Are faired bikes teally all that good for wind blast? specifically wind noise on the helmet.

ive seen some moan it just focuses a blast of air towards the helmet unless you lie on the tank. I have never ridden one myself, ive tried screens on my sv x, and they all seem to make things worse.

well lets see at 150mph on the blade no problems to report with wind blast,on a private road of course, try that on a naked, ive been down the naked route and i know which one i preffer, and lets face it a small screen around the headlight makes f-ck all differance as ive been down that road as well, but if we all keep to the speed limit then no need for a fairing on your cg125,and how meny moto gp bikes do you see going round the track naked, answers on a postcard!

I've rdden my zx at 160 tiny wind blast, done 145-150 on the tuono and with the right screen not too much you have to crouch down on both mind you and I could do maybe 100 miles on the zx and a good 200-300 on the tuono before I need a break, I could go longer on the zx if I was going faster but the slower I went the more nakered I got.

The Tuono is reference to its such a great bike, its a shame your not replacing like for like, and the dell reference is the blanket response to any it related question on here...

Best of luck with whatever you go for :)
