Who cares about the insurance on his vehicle, silly tw*t can fix it himself.

3rd party cover can't to my knowledge be affected, and this is what you're claiming from.

Oh and one more thing, since the on road breath test is not considered enough evidence for a ban, how would it have any affect at all on insurance claims?

Just where is your information coming from to post this?

Errr you left your car illegally parked half in the road and then whinge when it gets hit, if he was drunk it was his fault, and if he wasn't it was yours, it was you that got his car hit, who is stupid now, still as you said, at least it was a good curry.

Should he have left it fully on the road then?

Why was he illegally parked, I'm not up on parking laws.

Because I was facing the wrong way. Reflectors on the rear and none on the front.

However this isn't illegal during the day I found out, just at night.

However I did put my parking light on... But still illegal I guess.

Chris, I was relating to what has happened as there is more chance of the OP seeing the roadside than the one in the nick.

If you were able to fail a breath test and cause an accident, there is a good chance bloods and secondary tests will normally come back fail.

"A good chance" does not back up a sweeping and direct statement about something as serious as making insurance null and void, which is a) boll*cks and b) probably very worrying for Mr Stuuk there who would be faced with an expensive repair bill or a £1000 hire car insurance excess. Now he seems like a fairly clever lad but someone might have read that statement and been very worried. Think before you hit "post", for f*cks sake.
