Loads here in Haslemere, but it's melting now.

No snow up here. but I went to stockport last night.

3 cars smashed up on the M61 all individual crahes into barriers or straight across hard shoulder and off into the woods etc. About 3 miles apart. No gritters had been out

Got to stockport and the hill up into town was a skating rink. Some people would fail others try to overtake the skidding car and causing difficulty for the skidder going sideways etc. who needed to U turn and go back down. Traffic from side roads cutting in and having to stop not allowing others to then get a decent run????

Why when we were warned about the weather had major roads not been gritted?

None on south coast Portsmouth area, no frost, ice, snow, nothing. Just lots of rain over-night. Tho gritter lorry was out yest evening so maybe they expected some?

Loads here :( Took me 1 and half hours to do 20 miles last night. Felt really sorry for a guy on a XJR1300 just outside Knutsford, I was down to less than 10 mph in car and he was at a walking pace. How he was managing to stay on god only knows :(

About 2" in SW19 last night, but been melting all day. If it rains tonight I'll expect it to all be gone in the morning.

I wouldn't have recognised you without your glasses!
4" in our part of Sheffield, main roads are okay but it's drizzling and the side roads are still covered.
Just hoping the roads aren't too icy for the Mrs in the car but probably the tRam for me in the am :(

Was a lot in the am, but its cleared up alot I don't think it snowed but I know its cold after spending the day on sound stage, home is sweet!
