At a glance the frame looks sound but the bike had a bad front end (front wheel now 45degrees to top yoke) so the VIN plate has been removed. Obviously it could never go on the road but not sure if it could ever be used on a track bike? I'd have it checked over if i decided to try that.

Suprised they didnt cut the headstock out where the VIN is stamped

You can just about make out the two little holes where the plate was removed on the right frame spar.
Nothing else has been touched. The forks were bent and twisted but dropped out of the yokes without much hassle. There no notching in the head bearings and the wheel and discs were not buckled or warped.

The weird thing is, I miss the 250 the most, it was hands down the most 'fun' bike I've ever owned. Couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding as far as power and torque but you could chuck it around like anything. Those of you familiar with the snake pass and woodhead road; I went for a ride out along them with a few mates who had ZX10R, GSXR1000, R6, ZX6R respectively and although they disappeared on straights I was like an angry terrier on the heels through the bends with the engine screaming up to the 16k redline :) I went round the outside of the ZX10R at one point, he was NOT happy lmao.

Oh and going through a box today I found a brand new sealed clutch actuator mechanism, genuine fork dust seals and two JHS 4deg ignition advancers hehe #winning
I whipped the tops off the carbs to check that they did have a dynojet kit fitted and the needles have mutiple e-clip locations and a half space shim so I'm guessing they do?
