I painted a blue bike yellow once, never regreted it for a moment.
If you fancy a white one then do it.
IMHO would be classy on a VFR.

bike in red with two white lids looks good but a white bike would suit you Quiff, however, with your OCD won't it drive you bananas? Every little speck and squished fly that's been baked on, you'll go into overdrive :D

It might work though - people expect white to look grubby so it always looks cleaner than it actually is.

most painters will tell you that painting over red with a light colour is the hardest to do because red is the hardest/strongest colour to cover up,but apart from that go for it
