I'm not going to debate org politics and bull.

Anyway, as stated offer on table. Anyone else brave enough to offer a solid oservice to the org is welcomed greatly, my offer will be revoked if someone else offers to seriously stand an AR.

Good luck to them.

I'm with dizzy, middle of the country sounds good and hats off to anyone willing to organise such an event.

I think we'll be doing an Essex weekend next year at the H&H again, not billed as an AR, and the weekend will have to fit in around the Ashes Test at Lord's and my other cricket, and Supervox's schedule so we can organise it. We know that it will appeal mostly to the Soho/Essex/Selkent mob, but will be open to anyone who fancies heading to the Southeast, including drunk irishmen. If the numbers are smaller then we'll most likely rely on food from the chippy or the pub, but if enough came then the caterer said he's do a BBQ again.

It goes without saying that I'd bake, and will be open to requests.

Would be great if we could do a West Country AR, I could visit the Capuchin I sponsor at the Monkey Sanctuary in Looe.

Now that things have quitened down a little I would like to put forward a suggestion.

Complete circumnavigation of IRELAND for a week, but with a difference,go via Wales and return via Scotland then everbody will have covered all four countries England,Ireland,Scotland and Wales. The expense may be the bug bear but I am looking at it as a holiday rather than just an AR ride out
