I just used the plastic helmet mount which is velcro to the side of the helmet. It hasn't budged since I first put it on even after riding in high winds and heavy rain. I wasn't to confident in it at first but it seems to work. You could always tie a lanyard to the camera or mount and then round your neck just in case. It's what I did at first when I didn't know how secure it was.

The police were probably too busy that day to worry about your ambulance chasing, but SP1 is right, they do take a very dim view of it, and you are vulnerable at that point as everybody's attention is on the emergency vehicle, and nobody's is on you. Not much different to normal filtering I guess, just 100% of drivers you have to ride on their behalf, instead of the usual 90% :lol:

You have some guts gunning it through those floods and creating that bow wave, I'll give you that! I wouldn't take them at that speed on my off-road bike which is designed for the task and has a snorkel on top of the airbox. Never mind 325cc, doing that on an SV I'm surprised you didn't draw water into your engine.

Oh, and the stupidest tw4t IMO wasn't the woman about 6 minutes in, though she's a close second. It was the truck driver at 3 minutes odd blocking a lane to force the traffic queue. Who the f#*k does he think he his? A copper? A traffic warden? God perhaps? Traffic flows much better when queues use two lanes and merge in turn when they reach the blockage. All he's doing is creating f#*king gridlock. Tw4t. The cops should book truck drivers that do that for blocking the queens highway IMO.

The first bit of flooded road I rode through was deeper than I thought which is why I was going a little faster than I probably should have, but when you watch back footage of your own riding you always see things that could have done better/differently. Wasn't really expecting it to be that deep after just 30 - 40 minutes of rain to be honest. Main thing is I got home fine and the bike is still going strong.
