I'm in but won't be up that way for a couple of weeks yet!

Put the bike away for winter?

You should see the Ace, fairing made of gaffer tape and cable ties, as for the rest most of it's wood and the rest is rust!

with all that wood and gaffer tape best keep an eye on it as there are a lot of bonfires about this weekend!!,
my fairings are mosty plastic, never thought about making them with paper mache
but to be honest, the good bikes are away for the winter, well lets face it my 929 has never ever seen salt before and only been in the rain twice, the others arn't as mint, but the 600 bandit does the brunt of the winter riding, and has got its fair share of rust, and between now and april i will put atleast 2k on its clocks

Re: EAR Locations?

So it seems so far that the EAR is South heavy and red lodge may not be the most central? This needs discussion to solve meet non attendance from the peeps furthest away!

Can the map in the sticky section not be cleared and updated? It would be easier to see who was where and still active.

Re: EAR Locations?

What with the EAR being a pretty vague geographical area, and with me and one or two others only just over the border into Essex ( I can see Suffolk on a clear day if I stand on Jumbo), I could think of myself as a member.

;)

Will have to survey the area for a meet place with surrounding twisties and facilities for tea and bacon butties and such!

Re: EAR Locations?

So after investigation, it appears Bury St Edmunds is the centre of the EAR, however Red Lodge is only a few miles away so seems the central point has already been found.

Still think moving meet points from time to time is the way to go, as Red Lodge is a 10 min trip for me but quite a trek for others!

BTW Messie Red Lodge is in Suffolk, but I see your point it is quite a trek from Colchester to meet up before a rideout!
