What distance are you looking at? Might be cheaper to buy a length of flat network cable and run it straight from your router to the xBox under the carpet?

If yo are refering to my original question then the router is in the lounge and the Xbox is upstairs so quite a way.

Yeah, the original question ;)

It's worth looking into, even if only for price (although it has the speed benefits too): I only needed 10m for it to go from my router in my lounge to the spare room upstairs with it under the carpet all the way, for when I wanted to hook my PC up directly.

At the moment on eBay I've found a 20m flat cable for £7 delivered.
And also 30m for £10.50 delivered.

Thought it was at least worth throwing in the suggestion :)
