Eat at my desk on the three days a week I'm in the office. Do a supermarket run on first day to stock up on at least two fruit varieties for snacking and a multipack of small choccie biccies like Twix fingers or Club as a daily treat. Sarnie from the canteen (they now have a good simple selection with no fatty dressings), aforementioned fruit and choccie, lots of water in the drinking fountain (get through 2 litres a day) and the odd tea if I feel like it (10p to the tea club kitty). Surprisingly, for a bean counter, I have never costed it...

Simple sarnie, fruit, cordial and every now and then crisps on days when I work at home. WFH is nice as I get to walk the dog at lunchtime too instead of being cooped up in air conditioned flourescent hell.

Or home made rolls with ham and salad and a slice of home made Victoria sponge. Plus fruit from the local farm. That's what Mr LPH gets even if I've got home from work after midnight.

No...

Everyone else's wives have the sense to do it the night before and leave it wrapped up in the fridge.

If working from home, sandwitches.... If on customer site (Sweden) there's a limited choice of lunch restaurants that do main courses for between 75 and 95 SEK (roughly £7.50 to £9) however this gets expensed so I don't mind the cost....

Always have a supply of cereal bars and chocolate in the laptop bag in case I get hungry.

Food has no impact on waistline, 6 foot 4. 11 stone - my wife hates me......

I have eaten the same thing for lunch every day for the past 4-6 years (the king of variety lol)

Banana at 10am
Ham salad sandwich (lettuce, cherry tomatoes and mayo on granary bread)
Crisps (whatever is on offer on a multipack during the previous main home shop)
2 satsumas
3 Chocolate Chip Digestives

Thats me, every single work day! Total cost must be no more than £1.00-£1.50 a day or so...

Reading all of these have made me laugh. Oh how different are we all.

Although jealous of those who have a wife whom makes them sandwhichs.

Norfolk of course (we never leave) - but I am sure there must be Jewish, Scottish and Yorkshire blood in there somewhere!

(No offence meant to any of the above!)
