Re: Tea-milk before of after?

Pot-made: before
Brew-in-the-mug: after |
Re: Tea-milk before of after?
Never milk in first. It means the water is no longer boiling and therefore tea is not properly stewed.
Often coffee drinkers will put milk in first, Hate it. It is the same as when you get tea at a coffee shop, water is not boiling cos it ruins their coffee supposedly, if you add boiling water onto coffee beans / granules (already crap if you ask me). Did you know you cannot make a cup of tea on top of Everest ! This is the same reason, because of low pressure the water boils before 100 C and therefore unable to stew properly. FACT. |

Teabag & sugar in ceramic mug with motorbike reference (KTM, Croft my current favoutites) Add boiling water Gentle swirl, ~ 5 stirs Squeeze bag and remove Add splosh of milk Drink Any other way is yuuuuuk. |
Re: Tea-milk before of after?
Tea should be done milk last so the water is as hot as possible.
Coffee should be done milk first so the water isn't quite boiling, although with instant coffee it doesn't really matter, no beans to scorch. |
Re: Tea-milk before of after?
