Life just is.

It’s what we do with it that counts.

Are you still using the AT cart? What's the new phono stage?

nope i found an A&R 77 in my drawer that i put there a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away and to my surprise i could still get a new stylus for it from ESCo so i got the Paratrace which turned out to be a lovely music maker, not tonally true but very musical.

my new phono stage is a Parks Audio Puffin and sort of pizzez in the face of 'true analogue' as its an A-D/D-A with jiggery pokery going on in the digital realm which reduces scratches etc.etc but still sounds very analogue at the output. ok it still has faults but so does everything unless you want to spend Łkk and even then depends on your ears and audio flavour. i have not tried any of the AT's with the Puffin but i doubt that it would be a good match as the Puffin is very midband orientated.

Life is about existing every single day as if it is the last.

Naah, if I tried that I'd either be locked up for murder or stabbed by a jealous husband :D

Maybe we should start a new thread on what you would do if you knew it really was your last day. If the doctors said at 9am that you would be dead by this time tomorrow and there was nothing they could do, what would you do?? (apart from making sure your will and life insurance were up to date - that's boring)

Not sure about the last day but when the doctor told me when I was 60 that I wouldn't live to be 65 if I carried on smoking, I stopped smoking !
