Anyway i find out thursday if i need a pin put in my thumb. my parents reckon it will be about 2 months at the earliest before im able to go back on it. :(

yeah right,

busted spine= professional opinion, might walk again = 16 weeks back to riding
crushed foot (all bones broken) = professional opinion, might loose foot = 8 weeks back to riding.

dislocated thumb = professional opinion, 48hrs immobile and a week light use = riding two days later.

Just as well I never listened to what they say

Positive Mental Attitude, works wonders.l

I'm sure if you ask nicely some one would pillion you in to Soho for the evening :?:

Cheers Mark.

Add too add.

11 broken ribs + pelvis broken into multiple pieces = professional opinion, lenghty stay in hospital and months of rehab before can walk again = ten days in hospital and riding again after 4 months. Totally agree with Mark. PMA is the best healer there is.

I voted for the wussy dependent on weather answer.
Will try and make it, though, since I haven't been for a month or so.

Hi guys - I'll probably pitch up on the back of the Africa at around 10 pm. The SV hasn't left the garage for weeks now. Although looking weather-wise, Sunday looks good for a ride out and my baby, I am sure, is feeling neglected.

Hopefully see some of you on Friday.

It's snowing like fook as I am getting ready to go to work. BUT I'LL STILL BE THERE hope these are not famous last words

Mr Toad 04-03-05 08:23 AM

yep, snowing heavily in central London at the mo, but doesn't look like it will settle (famous last words)

I could do with the loan of a knee tonight to help straighten my radiator
Jonboy has already volunteered to scrape the remains of the pedestrian off it

I'd be extremely wary of trying to straighten a rad. They're like brake levers, they only bend once.

Mr Toad 04-03-05 09:02 AM

it's not actually bent, just the 'hangers' or whatever they're called that are bolted to the frame - it's been shifted sideways by an inch or so, just needs pushing back, but I can't quite manage on my own - need to hold & push at the same time
