I'm in work for 37 hours per week i actually do work for about 3 hours per week hence i'm paid peanuts. Still i get internet access which is better than my dial up at home so there's always a silver lining to a crappy job.

blimey, are you in sales?

Used to be. Im now heading up a new department all on my own - managing our sales pipelines, compiling data and reports for the accountants and directors. Feeding back to our account managers which of our consultants are under performing etc. Its interesting, but very...."dynamic" shall we say. Regulaly dont know if im coming or going.

Or maybe I earn so much that I can afford the time......

I was told by an old MD of mine that there are only 2 things that count in this world, Time & Money, if you have plenty of one, you can earn the other.

If you want more time, earn more money so you can take time off. If you want more money, work longer hours and be more successful.

Howmuch do I earn ? People tell me too much, my wife says "not enough", you tell me.......... How much you earn is relative to what you want from life and how much it costs you to live it.

you really need to learn about the heirarchy of management. the higher up you go, the less you do, but if things go wrong then it's your fault.

Only one point Jelster... TCR... Time, Cashflow, and Relationships. Most important. Very similar to your Time and Money... just with an added bit of wisdom.
