I think the problem with most Honda and BMW riders is that they are constantly keeping an eye open to ensure that their pipe is still lit!
You can't expect them to do everything! :D |

. . . just to stick out their thumb for a lift !! :P Can't say I've ever noticed a problem with Honda or BMW riders, but round these parts I find that :- (1) The majority of Hardly Movingsons don't nod to anyone other than another of their own ilk (2) Streetfighter riders - see (1) (3) Sportsbike riders nod to other 'big bike' (over 400cc) riders unless they're 'on it' in which case they are concentrating too much on the road (or thinking "am I looking good with my knee out / down going round this bend") to think / care about nodding. Me - I'll nod to most (tend to ignore HD's cos they ignore me) have even been known to nod to a hairdryer if the rider is properly attired !! |

I heard once that half the bike cops were bikers first, then cops and therefore friendly, and half were cops first, then bikers, therefore grumpy. Also, two bike cops went past during a highspeed pursuit! Black guy in an old BMW screamed out of a side road accross my path and roared off into the distance, then two police motorcyclists went past following him, but rather leisurely i thought; I had moved left so they could overtake this slow car but they didn't even bother! I'd have caught that dirty crim that cut me up in no time if I'd have been them  |
