I live very close, 3 miles :D so I can comment. The roads are closed to allow the village close by some sort of peace :P The various routes do work if the signs are followed. ie no cars to turn right out of the circuit, only bikes

Im not sure how close you are to Tom Wheatcroft, but I have met him and he is a nice bloke. Although Tom W is retired and his daughter runs things with a team of managers.

I can normally leave the circuit and be in my local pub in about an hour when the meeting is finished. I always use different viewing areas for different races.

The toilets are disgusting but no wrse than any other circuit with 80,000 plus people

Enjoy yourselves :P

One thing I do hate is all these throw away barbecues burning all day, it makes you feel like a pikey and they stink :x

I was made up when he brought F.1 to Donington in .93.

Any chance of a room for the Sunday night after the GP?? :wink:
