I work (as does my partner)

I cook (as does my partner, now she knows how)

I clean (as does my partner)

I do the washing (as does my partner)

I iron (as does my partner)

I wash up (as does my partner)

I walk the dogs (as does my partner)

I do all DIY (my partner helps)

I ride an SV (as does my partner)

I dislike most TV programmes ( my partner has her choice of TV programmes)

I have sex ( my partner doesn't mind so long as i don't wake her)




Am i that difficult to understand, except maybe by some men.

lol i think its good that we dont understand men and more importantly that they dont understand us. me I dont understand anything but it makes life easier as i dont try and figure it out :lol:

Foey - you are a rare gem among pebbles. :D

But then, my other half thinks he does all that too... He DOES cook more than me, but he's done the washing up about 2 or 3 times in the past month... He hasn't done any other form of housework (apart from some cooking and his laundry... oh, he'll take the rubbish out to the bin occasionally). I mow the lawns. He thinks the garden's a dump (although used another term to describe it) and has no interest in it so doesn't see why he should ever do it.

I guess this constitutes helping out round the house... except its NOT MY JOB to do it all so WHY it's called 'helping out' is beyond me.

It should be called DOING YOUR FAIR SHARE.
