Yup - just what I was thinking - I am actually surprised that they look so good - maybe it's the contrast with the green...or something :-k

Never thought I'd say this but...I like the green and gold :D

Gold - It's all iced up with it.

That bike is putting a point across so you've got to to accentuate the swagger and the silver just doesn't do it :? :P  .

Some of you guys are exactly as bad as me at this :) Usually I'm good for solid decisions. Ask me what top to wear on a date- that one, the other one's too tarty. Does your bum look big in that? Yes. That jacket makes you look like your mum. But ask me what colour my own wheels should be and I start to dribble.

There is a Third Way! I've got a project on the back burner which will mean a new rear wheel. If I can ever get the ******* bearings out. If I'm doing that anyway, I might get the front redone, or I could just get it done in the same powder. Soooooo... Any suggestions?

I'd quite like to go with a darker gold, bronze almost. Think that could give it the contrast that the gold does, while not being quite so Pat Butcher.

Before anyones says colourmatch with the green, no. Too much green. And I don't like 2-tone. Polishing is right out, hate it.

Agreed here. Yer mans got a way with words. Gold n green is spot on.

Although charcoal black spokes (as per engine) with otherwise gold rims would be my tuppence worth. (Even though you've just said it's a no-no.)

alright, so the gold wheels look like you went out and got gold wheels and stuck them onto your bike, whereas the silver wheels look like they belong there, that they might have been there their whole lives.

now, the question is though, which looks better though.
tough call. one looks natural, and one looks sort of cool.

your best bet is to get the whole bike painted again, in a nice matt black colour, ceramic coat black the headers and everything in sight, then gold braided brake lines, gold wheels, and a couple of other gold odds and ends. No more than a couple though.

And then gleaming gold SUZUKI on the tank.

Jesus. if you had those gold gixxer forks on the bike, with those wheels, and everything blacked out, i think i would be having a funny feeling in my tummy right now.

Hmmmm. Gold and black.... mmmmmm.
