Can peeps please start to chill and think carefully before they post as, after last night's suicide thread, the Admin and Moderator team have decided that heads are about to roll.
Posts should be polite (as far as is possible) and show respect for fellow forum users. Forum members that insist on troll-like behaviour and causing a continual air of bad feeling will simply be excluded from participating in this great community. . |

You offering or just asking . Go o then I'll have one
Cheers Ben |
Lissa, in my opinion you have nothing to apologise for, you did nothing wrong, you just had your opinion like everyone else. No apologies needed.
But seeing as you feel the need to say sorry, then I guess I should say sorry too. Maybe my post was a little "too much detail" So apologies if I offended or upset anyone. Hopefully we've all learned a valuable lesson here.... Life is precious. J xx |
Lissa, you didn't have to apologise. I know about the pain that can be caused to family and close friends when someone has depression and is thinking about suicide/commits suicide or self-harms.
I'm not proud of the last comment I made in that thread. Sorry Gary |
my mother once said to me "if you cant say something nice, dont say anything"
how right she was. |

'I disapprove of what you say, but I wil defend to the death your right to say it' Supposed to be Voltaire but in fact a summary of Voltaire's attitude.
I read yesterdy's thread with interest cos I live near York and because a similar thing happened in a car park near my office about a fortnight okay... It seems to me everyone should have the right to express their opinions and given the thread's heading maybe people who did not want to expose raw feelings should have not read the stuff. As my father used to say when people complained about stuff on TV... there is an off button. Also it would be good if people expressed themselves without personal abuse; sometimes that's difficult depending on the subject matter but if they don't they then they should stop posting... or, after being warned, be stopped. Abusing people does not change their minds or provoke debate it just hardens attitudes... It does help if when posting controversial stuff people have some thought about how it's going to be received.... winding people up for the sake of it on sensitive subjects doesn't seem to me what an internet forum should be about. It's impossible to know if people's apologies are genuine but they should be treated as such. Sermon over  |
