Watch your dreams over the next week or so, the human subconcious tries to get its message across in every way it can "dream up" (pardon the pun). Post some more dreams, I'll post back too, it'll probably narrow it down :)

Problem is that I rarely remember my dreams which is why I was quite surprised to remember the big hairy spider one.

I recently read the police report from my accident which brought everything back to me so it could easily relate to that.

Course it could be because I was sitting on my sofa last week completely emersed in a book and a spider (not a little one) crept up the back of the sofa and started to walk up my shoulder. Scared the living crap out of me.

You don't remember them because they occur during the first few REM cycles during sleep. Usually everyone will dream 3-4 times a night, every night. Even the later cycles (which are usually much deeper) sometimes aren't remembered.

You remember the ones that are important for some reason, it's as simple as that. Dreams can happen because your mind is trying to work out what has happened that day, or the previous few days & weeks etc. Or they can happen because your mind has worked itout, and is trying to show you something it considers important. These are the ones you remember.

Scary, the human mind, isn't it? And this is the thing that I was trying to replicate. Hmm.

EDIT: Oh to of been a fly on your wall when you were scared half to death, that would of been funny to see. Only, I wouldn't of wanted to be a fly on your shoulder, for obvious reasons, big hairy spider etc.

I had a dream about our network monitoring system, what does that mean?

Apart from that I am a geek.

You're a geek!

Work (or work related tasks etc) is all about procastination, mainly due to anxieties about a task or project. But some more detail would be helpful :P

I did do a rather fantastic leap straight up in the air. I then rounded up a couple of cats to sort the problem.
