So are we waiting for ten confirmations, or do I go ahead and buy?

I would prefer 10 confirmations, then i know the guy can't say "I've only had 7" etc but what ever people would prefer

Just a quick couple of questions as I may well be interested (insurance money came through today :D)...

I've got one of these:

http://www.acerbis.com/p107_headlight/3028.html
(not yet fitted).

I've heard that these can melt if you put a 55W bulb in them. They come with 35W bulbs as standard. I take it 35W HIDs should be fine in it too?

Also, how "removeable" is the HID system; say I buy a different bike, will it be reasonably easy to move the HID system to that and put the SV back to stock?

Ceri,

The kit is a bolt on, you should be able to easily return to stock after using it.

You might want to be careful in your case as I think you bulbs are probably H1 style. You need to contact the seller (maybe through svrash) to see if you can get Xenon (single or Bi) for your headlight.

This group buy was for H4 bulbs I believe.

:)

The seller did say he needs to be told in each paypal payment what size, temperature etc it is, so it's not just H4...

Originaly it was, but the last email i got from the company asked for bulb sizes 8) but the buy is for a bi-xenon kit with 2 sets (for car or bike with double headlights)

I have a concern about this group buy now, not a big issuse but one we need to be aware off...Import Tax

The kits are coming from across the water so I'm going to ask if he can mark them as gifts when sending, if not then we get taxed on them...but saying that it shouldn't be too much and still be cheaper than buying the kit in the UK

svrash 09-11-06 12:38 PM

As some people are waiting 'til payday and other funding reasons, i think we should start ordering around the 30th of this month, this also gives other people time to get in on the bargains

I've emailed the guy about the tax situation and marking the parcels as gifts to avoid the unsightly payment...will keep you posted

Any thoughts, concerns PM me, i'll try and sort it all out
