It will go back up, it will come back down. Plus that and on the 2 occasions that i have used Asda fuel i have had trouble, i wouldnt ever use it again.

Just do what I do and watch the prices in your area with this http://www.petrolprices.com

I do, but prices are pretty static round here and not a lot of choice. We just got a new Tesco and their planning application for a petrol station was turned down. Surprisingly a councilor's daughter owned a filling station locally at the time of the application. Cheapest diesel is 92p and petrol is 87p, need to travel 10 miles minimum to get it. Local Texaco / Esso is 91p petrol and 97p diesel!

You could just do what I do and write off the difference, but if you ask me saving maybe a quid per refill's not worth spending time finding where it's cheap and maybe more time going there... So I just fill up as and when the need occurs, and if there's somewhere cheaper around that i know of I'll go there (which means Morrisons round here)

I try to keep it in a 5 mile radius and just look at the stuff that's on route to work... in my case if I fill up at Sainsburys in Portsmouth its 85.9, but twenty miles up the road to Bordon its 88.9. And the difference is another 10 miles traveling to me.

6p a litre difference here between Esso out on the A5 and Morrisons on the north side of town. I think that's worth a trip...

Especially filling a car, thats £3.60 a tankful on my motor. £150 over a year? That's my bike insurance!

I only fill up when in the towns in question on other business, so don't burn extra going for the cheaper fuel.

Now if I could save 6p a litre on heating oil.......
