Neither do I thats why if I go I'll put my standard can back on. Its not a huge job and TBH the peformance exhaust on both my bikes makes naff all difference to the performance anyway.

Could just strap it to the bike, I have the stuff to put it on...

Grinch, thats the sort of thing I normally associate with Northwind saying :D Not a bad idea though.

For some reason the Pembrey one looks the best to me...

though if your all mad, Aberdare Park gets turned into a bike circuit for 2 days a year... we could all enter into the Aberdare Park Bike races then.. and fly off into the bails of hey strategicaly placed between the track and the trees...

i dont realy mind which

pembray looks the hardest
castle looks the best but noise restriction is not good
llandow looks good for beginers (which i am)

IMO

fizzwheel 25-01-07 10:51 PM

I dont see the problem with the noise restriction I really don't... like I said put your standard can back on and you'll be fine. IMHO race cans dont do anything for power all they do is sound better.

Personally I dont really fancy the idea of Pembray or LLandow, Castle Combe suits me best because its closest. I cant see why you welshies / mofo's can do one and us South Coasties can do one on a diferent day that way, if people want to do both they can, I dont see why that shouldnt work.

weazelz 25-01-07 11:09 PM

I'm not very local, but I'd be up for a one. Castle Combe preferred from distance point of view, but the other two are quite possible also, I haven't done any of them, so would be nice to do something new & different :-)

hovis 25-01-07 11:10 PM

i have voted for llandow as it looks a good "beginers" track

but will go to any of the 3. i cant put my original can back on as i have cut the link pipe. but if combe wins i will replace my race can with my road legal scorpion & hope for the best.

squirrel_hunter 25-01-07 11:15 PM

Don't mind which, its the cost that will be the biggest decider for me ie if I do it at all.

I would prefer to keep my can as it is so would shy away from Castle Combe, but are there any other restrictions on the road worthiness of your bike

Fizz - In my experience cans have made a difference to power on all of my bikes. From replacing the knackered one on my TZR to the full system on my CBR to the can on my SV. The Rene on the SV added 10mph to the top end with no other modifications.
