You can't silence normal high velocity ammo, it has to be special made subsonic velocity. So the .45 will be somewhat neutered in performance.

but silenced never the less...the slide lock helps the reduction in noise too.

You won't hear the cycling of the action no, but if you need a follow up shot you better have nimble fingers.
Anyway only pansy special forces need silenced pistols, real hard men climb a 50ft cliff with a Fairbairn-Sykes between their teeth and despatch the enemy...
