been there done that! left!

in my experience managment is the same everywhere less you kiss butt for a living!

i felt bullied after an incident of being over my flexible hours caused by the company itself!

and i was put on a warning and taken off flexi!

so i left and got a better job.....managment is crap as usual but the job is better.

I find myself doing that at the moment

me too... even to the point where I feel ill. Not just got a headache to try and get out of it, but it does give me a headache. Hate it, but it pays the mortgage and the skills that my workplace recognize I have are not written in a certificate, so I just can't find another job that pays well enough or suits my family commitments.... its grim. I just keep looking at job sites and pray something will turn up. My working week begins on a Thursday, and it ruins Tuesday nights and Wednesdays ... crazy

that sucks, I've been there a number of times. Right now my situation is in the process of changing, hopefully for the better!

There must be something that can be done? Is there something at work that can be rectified or is it just that you don't like what you do anymore? Have you tried job hunting? The first thing I did was talk myself out of other jobs before I had even looked at the market or approached any agencies. I had a good hard think, got my CV up to date and applied and applied and applied. Is there anyway you could study in your own time and get the certificates you mentioned? There are always options, it can sometimes take some time to find them.

There must be something, and I will get there eventually. I have 2 jobs. One which I love, but pays peanuts, and in truth always will unless I go self employed, and to do that I need some cash.

The other I am stuck with for now. In the office is my manager, his secretary and me! His secretary works opposite days to me so I am either in alone, or with him, I don't know which is worse .... it is soul destroying.

I am constantly job hunting and my cv is there at the ready as soon as something turns up! But I am not exaggerating when I say other jobs in this area pay half what I am on now, to change would mean doing more hours, which would mean I couldn't do the other job I love . Long winded but it is nice to get off my chest, hope it makes sense!

My best option is to train harder in the other job , and pray that one day I will get self employed. Need to win the lottery!
