Was just about to say the same thing. I remember not liking them years ago cos they had raisins in the bottom layer.

I like raisins now though!

I'm pretty sure they don't, as I'm not a rasin fan and have always eaten them.

Has no-one thought to go and buy one and eat it to find out?

They don't have raisins in them now, but a colleague of mine commented the other day (whilst eating a recently purchased double decker) "I'm sure these used to have raisins in them", to which I replied "Did they, I don't remember that" hence pointless poll.

:D

Double Decker bars originally had raisins embedded within the base layer but they were removed in 1986 in response to market research
This is interesting as the friend who main the original "I sure these used to have raisins in them" comment, was only 2 years old in 1986

What's your point? I feed my 2 year old chocolate bars, it keeps him quiet!

But nothing deep fried though because we're on a healthy eating kick.

Never had rasains AFAIK. But they are deliciously tasty. Must pop out to the shops now!

I can confirm that they did have raisins.

I was not 2 in 1986 - I was 17 and it's the year I joined up, I can remember this clearly for 2 raisins (or is that reasons ????),

1. I was a teenager therefore my staple diet was Irn Bru, crisps and chocolate bars, coupled with the food in basic training being so crap we all raided the NAAFI at every opportunity. :salut:

2. I am now diabetic and my only foray into chocolate is my memories of when I used to be allowed to eat it. !!!!!!!!!!!! :nomore: :smt022
